As great as it is in the other criteria, the sizing options of this bed are our only complaints. We wish there were larger sizes for our larger dogs.
Quality
This dog bed is made of pet-friendly material. We found that the faux fur and microfiber are not only safe for our pets but are also damage-proof. The digging and burrowing that our dogs enjoy did not damage the fabric.
As mentioned previously, this bed also held up through multiple cycles through the washer and dryer.
We are also impressed with the premium AirLoft fibers used to stuff the bed. They provide a firm but soft cushion, and it will keep its loft much longer than competing brands. After our dogs spent the night sleeping blissfully in their Cozy Cuddlers, we were surprised that the shape of the bed was not altered in the slightest.

On the pricey side, this cave bed delivers versatility and comfort in one product. Our dogs snuggled up real quick inside the enclosed, fleece-lined house.
Our testers did agree that there is a lot of comfort for our dogs in this “house bed,” but one of the drawbacks is the little mattress pad. Unlike other beds on the market, this mattress padding resembles a pillow. We did not deem it sufficient enough to provide orthopedic support.
We were pleased with the comfort and durability of the fabric. It’s very sturdy and no matter how long our dogs loved to dig, rummage and burrow in there, it held its shape.
It also held up well after in the washer. However, it isn’t safe for the dryer and has to air dry. The house shape that is built-in gives this bed some versatility and portability.

If you liked our review of the Cozy Cuddler, you will also like the Best Friends cave bed. The main difference between the two beds is that the Best Friends cave is slightly bigger. It also has orthopedic support, but our dogs preferred the Cozy Cuddler.

This cave bed is shaped like a tunnel and opens up like a wide pocket. It is covered with polyester and filled with cotton. We found that for the most part, our dogs did enjoy this bed. It has great sizing options and can fit a dog that is up to 50 lbs.
We noticed that some of our testers’ smaller dogs didn’t find as much comfort because the opening is too wide for their small frame. Snuggling in was not possible for our tiny pups, but bigger dogs generally had a ball using this bed.
