Foster Parents are integral to the success of orphaned dogs transitioning into new, forever homes. Foster volunteers will report to the Foster Program Leader and will be given a foster manual that details the process and policies for fostering a BARK dog. Volunteers who become foster parents are asked to complete an extensive application due to the fact that BARK dogs will leave BARK premises and be 100% in the care of the foster parent. Once the foster application is approved, the Foster Program Team will determine the best foster dog for you and your environment.
Please Note:
1) This form is designed to help you find the foster dog most compatible with your lifestyle. Completion of this application does not obligate you in any way or guarantee that you will become a BARK foster parent.
2) PUPPIES: Puppies require additional medical care and time & attention. We prefer to place puppies by pairs or entire litter to help them feel secure. For the very young, we keep them with their mothers.
Please complete all the questions completely to the best of your knowledge.
